Emily is originally from Saginaw, MI where she attended St. Stephen’s Elementary and Nouvel Catholic Central. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Child Development from Central Michigan University. Emily has loved the East Lansing area and Michigan State ever since she was a child. Her parents both attended MSU and would often take Emily and her sister to Spartan athletic events. Prior to joining the staff this year at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School, Emily taught Preschool for 3 years in Holland, MI. She also coached AAU club volleyball in Grand Rapids for 4 seasons, which she will continue coaching for the affiliated club team in Lansing this winter. During her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending Spartan football and basketball games, going to the lake, trying new foods, exercising, cooking, and browsing Pinterest.
