She received herbachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with minors in Language Arts and T.E.S.O.L. from Michigan State University, while serving as an intern at St. John Student Center. Following her years in Chicago, Erin taught third grade at All Saints Catholic School in Canton, MI. While at All Saints, earned her Catechist certification, served on the school's Advisory Board as chair of the Catholic Identity committee, and organized several school-wide celebrations.
In 2019, Erin again graduated from Michigan State University with a master's degree in teaching and curriculum. Additionally, she obtained the K-12 Reading Specialist licensure. She taught fifth grade in Haslett for three years prior to accepting the positon of school principal at St. Thomas Aquinas.
Erin is married to Gordon. They live in East Lansing, and as fellow alums, enjoy all things Spartan (and Gordon's cooking). Erin's parents are also parishioners at St. Thomas/St. John. Erin is an avid runner, reader, and loves spending time with family. The school community is one Erin feels blessed to be a part of. She is grateful for your prayers and support as we continue to strengthen St. Thomas Aquinas School.
